Berlin Atonal 2016
Stage Null hosts the final showcase from the notorious Jealous God outlet, originally formed by Juan Mendez Silent Servant (Official), Karl O’Connor (Regis) and James Ruskin. Since its launch in 2013 out of the ashes of Sandwell District, the label has done as much as any other entity in tracking and shaping the entry of post punk and industrial into the techno world. Heading the final outing of this illustrious entity will be a new collaborations uniting Silent Servant himself and New York via Berlin artist Phase Fatale. Fusing post-punk to darker, harder and industrial-influenced techno, this collaboration combines rigid drumming, cold synths and bleak samples – the image of future war. Joining them in this farewell event is 51717 (the solo project of New Yorker Lili Schulder), DVA DAMAS, December, Alexey Volkov, Champagne Mirrors and Kerri LeBon.
Tresor welcomes a return by one of the legendary figures from the 2014 edition of the festival when the dark, raw and metallic rhythms of Headless Horseman come to the dark, raw and metallic vault for a special reprise, joining him are Jonas Kopp and Positive Centre and new addition Karl Meier. The big news in Globus is that Marcellus Pittman has been added to the line-up. He joins the collaborative project of cult label heads Dynamo Dreesen (of Acido) and SVN (of Sued) as Dresvn: specialists in tripped-out, percussive house. OHM is all beats, bass and energy, playing home to Pinch, Headhunter, Low Jack and a live show from Imaginary Forces.
Tickets available on the door and from here.
