Bonito House Club I Tresor New Faces
Wed 26 July 2017 - 23:59

The Ghost is James Creed & Josh Tweek and they are a Berlin-based mobile record shop specializing in ’90s electronic music, and tonight we can get an acute taste of their electronica tendencies.  Last seen at Bonito House Club in August 2016, both are UK imports and Josh is affiliated with the Louche parties and podcasts in Berlin. Having launched two record labels, a podcast, numerous brands, parties and a string of releases with labels and artists from around the world, Andy Hart stands at the forefront of Melbourne’s dance music scene. Co-founder of the Melbourne Deepcast and now Melbourne’s infamous Wax’o Paradiso, Andy has also recently launched his own imprint Voyage, where he will explore a fascination with space, the galaxy and how these themes have found their way into electronic music over the years. As a DJ Andy Hart is retrospectively forward thinking, always paying homage to dance music’s rich history in disco, soul, house and techno. Also returning to the decks is Tom Lally: originally from Australia and based in Berlin the last 10 years, Tom Lally has been DJing and organising events in the German capital after having cemented his quality reputation in the Melbourne scene. Tom was resident at Mike’s Friday night affair at the infamous Melbourne afterhours club, Revolver, from 2010 to 2012. During this time, Tom also regularly held his own parties at Melbourne’s Killing Time, a venue which has gone on to become somewhat notorious for all the right reasons. On the Tresor Floor, new faces presents a live set by featured guest Greek DJ and ARTS collective artist JUDA∑ who will supply our fans with a touch of the mysterious, a dive into the unknown, a treat for those who relish the surprise of techno. Also affiliated with the Esch-Berlin events, one listen to his 2016 “Disgrace I, II & III” releases on ARTS will give you a sharpened idea of this chameleon’s prowess. Baptiste Poupon is Dynamic Range, who delivers a distinct style of techno and industrial or even experimental tendencies. Divergent Recordings is an independent record label founded in 2014. Carrying a deep, dark and driving techno sound with additional experimental imprints on top, the labels roaster is for now represented by its two founders, Dynamic Range and Nicolas H. aka Kaegōn. Hosting tonight is our driving techno resident Mischa.
