This summer Tresor Club’s legendary Wednesday night parties Bonito House Club returns for a thumbs-up reboot. Tonight we have three invited guests: Magnus von Welck, Jesse Scherwitz, Julius Richter are Aroma Pitch, an electronic music trio from Berlin and originally from Cologne. With their unforeseeable and unique collection of throbbing techno, synthesized disco, raw house and other world rhythms they provide a continual mood of surprise and discovery to their listeners. Since 2011 Aroma Pitch have been resident DJs and co-curators of the party series “Cologne Sessions” which takes place at Studio 672 and has its focus on improvised live music and extraordinary DJ sets. After moving to Berlin in 2012 the collective founded their own record label called APR on which they release their own tracks on vinyl. No matter if they perform live or as a DJ team, Aroma Pitch surprises the audience and leaves them amazed with their versatile taste in dance music. Michael Kraus is Sphera De Noumenon: in the last years he contributed to Berlin’s scene with interesting bookings for the Never Fade parties. Nowadays he is part of the Equations Collective, which consists furthermore of well appreciated artists like Artefakt, Lapien, Metropolis and young guns like Cyspe, Archaic Space and The D. The Equations nights are dedicated to those who cherish dancefloor focused improvised live sets. Hardware porn and intimate vibes served for all life-long improvisers, as they call it quite rightly. Gianluca Menchi is Menki, who will be playing with Brom at this year’s ℅ pop festival in Cologne. Together with Brom and Andreas Rohde, Menki also organises the off-space party-series Good News, trying to provide alternate clubbing experiences, both in sound and setting. In Tresor: tonight’s new faces guest artist is Jana Woodstock, an electronic DJ from Kiev, Ukraine, resident @ Osnova and @ XOXO in Krasnovar. Her recent Soundcloud mix Upperberry Vibrations is rich in diverse atmosphere’s from industrial touches to ambient/experimental beats. Abraham Tejada is X-303, who released his first EP in 2016 under this name in Illegal Allien, on Ricardo Garduno’s Blacklabel. In 2017 he is part of Subsist Records contributing 2 of the last VVAA. Then in Mainconcept Music he releases his EP Depression. He has also released on Obskure Records and will soon release several works in different European labels. At the end of 2017 X-303 forms with two friends “The Wire Alliance”, a group with which they experiment with modular synthesis and analog machines. The welcoming host tonight is Spanish DJ Artik, now Berlin-based and whose unsettling ambience and hammering percussion break up the rhythms that define Artik as a young artist still remaining of the top watch list.
