Bonito House Club and new faces are Wednesday icons in the history of Berlin electronic dance music. Born and raised in Istanbul, studied in London, and relocated to Paris in 2005, Tolga Fidan broke into the electronic dance music consciousness with his first ever release “Now I’m Weak EP” on Vakant (VA009) in 2006. Continuing with quality releases on Vakant, Tolga Fidan’s bottomless sound, constantly morphing arrangement, and eclectic sound design somehow points towards the orient that has taken him so far in so little time. French artist Yakine began with a 2008 Esperanza release and eventually fell into a residency for the Weirdo Magnet parties at Rex Club, cementing him in the new emerging Paris house music scene. Jason Lanox and Alex Cliché compliment the Globus Floor program. Downstairs on the Tresor Floor: Lee Holman is an uncompromising underground ethos, a taste maker and with a penchant of following his own innovative groove, he has garnered support from a host of Techno’s brightest names. Playing a fusion of deep, raw and energetic electronics, his sound creates a myriad of tension, constructing the perfect combination of musicality for club appearances. Performances both as a live act and as a DJ have unlocked opportunities to share hallowed ground with Techno’s elite. Founding the Kawl imprint, and with an ever expanding release schedule, combining collaborations, remixes and an imminent new label project, Lee Holman promises to be unrelenting in his definition of essential timeless Techno. Supply Records Mechaniker also takes the decks, as well as the deep, raw Detroit techno, dirty Chicago house music all with a twist of edgy UK bass heavy flavour by Superb Recordings Abayomi. All hosted by our excellent techno resident Mareena.
