Parallel is a Berlin booking and graphic agency, but not any kind of agency, it is a creative family who describe themselves as “misfits of the music industry”: aside from the mainstream, special, high qualitative and unique. And tonight some qualitative artists are certainly in the limelight. With an incredible rich background of different styles of music Daniela La Luz has created a personal style that defines her sound, playing hot and pumping live sets. Danielas sets and productions expand the boundaries of understanding house and techno music to new horizons. By processing a colorful range of various kinds of electronic music genres, Daniela is proving her uncompromising diversity on the dancefloor. Cinthie is a Berlin-based DJ and producer, and the creative mind behind the Beste Modus and Unison Wax record labels. A well-known figure in the German capital’s house scene, Cinthie represents the Beste Modus / Beste Freunde collective. Linked by a shared penchant for good house music and a love of Berlin’s unending parties, the crew have already pressed four eagerly-sought-after white label 12″s together. If that wasn’t enough, Cinthie also owns and runs the ‘Stasi Studios’ complex – so called because the building once functioned as a Stasi office: Cinthie‘s status as one of Berlin’s foremost dance-music innovators shows no sign of letting up anytime soon. Greek artist DEMM is owner of the label Disk Capita and together with fellow Greek DJ and producer And.id, they released their debut EP together as Anthropous Anonymous on Phonograph Music last September 2014. Mikki aka WBCJ ia a Luxembourg artist who provides an infectious set of house music for the dancefloor lover. Downstairs on the Tresor Floor: new faces presents a live set by Tomas Hartl aka Elektrabel: a top electronic artist in his native Czech Republic, he debuted on the Czech label Virtual Label with an “Untitled” EP, and his sound is still characterized by hard-hitting rhythms and hypnotic synthesizers loops, recently also with dense pads and slower minimalistic beats. Dennis aka D. Lee will surely leave an enduring impression with a non-ordinary techno set distinguished by his sophisticated inventiveness – as a DJ, he’s a rough diamond. D. Lee is part of the elusive Berlin collective ∑, which recently emerged with well-received events at Ohm club, as well as a series of exciting records. He is also the newest employee at Hard Wax record store Berlin. Both of these innovative new faces are hosted by Tresor resident and Hardwax artist Mischa.
