Post Scriptum reprises the surprising and explosive live show since their last show in our home last July. Post Scriptum’s nuclear sounding tracks were unearthed by the “Sandwell District” co- label owner Function. Post Scriptum released a debut album of Millsian disciplines simply called Post Scriptum 01 on Infrastructure New York and respected press outlets hailed his debut. Classic techno sound sources are clear to hear, alongside complex processing and a very original approach to arrangement that flavours and colours each track. And returning artists Irakli Kiziria and Yacoub Chakarji are I/Y who produce “machine sounds for sensible minds”. Described as elegant and warm, the mystery and hypnotic tendencies of I/Y’s set will envelope you. Positive Centre is the dark ambient project of Berlin-based Artist, Mike Jefford. Using a collection of analog synthesizers, effects processors and tape machines, Positive Centre is an exploration into the possibilities of depth, width and texture reproduction through loud speakers. Being influenced by the infamous French pioneers Groupe de Recherches Musicales, Positive Centre takes the exploration of sound reproduction and audio collage into rhythmic and hypnotic spirals of reverberated walls of sound, with an emphasis on subtle changes in repetition and low frequency sound. Returning artist Blazej Malinowski is a musician, DJ, radio journalist, who actively supports the Warsaw techno scene. Collector of vinyl records and items with potential to generate music, he is fascinated by synthesizers, samplers, drum machines, cables, knobs, oscillators, each of even the strangest instruments. In his work he is obsessed by the musical genres related to techno and minimal forms. Blazej is also co-founder of Fünfte Strasse project, which includes a radio broadcast and recurring music events to promote techno, deep techno. On the Globus Floor: Artefakt is a collaboration between Dutch producers Robin Koek and Nick Lapien that share a love for melancholic, hypnotic voodoo music. They found a home for their sound at Field Records and released material on the München-based Prologue label. Hailing from Okinawa, now-Tokyo-based producer IORI once cut his teeth as an assistant for David Mancuso’s revered party, The Loft, in New York City, where he learnt a meticulous sonic mentality from his audiophile mentor. This permeates his carefully-handled arrangements, which have helped make his name and define a series of spacey, atmospheric originals and remixes for proponent imprints like Phonica and Prologue to name but a few. Despite his return to Japan in 2015 after a time in Berlin, IORI’s presence remains strongly felt through frequent European tours. Returning guest artist Kenneth Christiansen has been DJing all over Europe the last decade, playing in top clubs in most capitals. Apart from running the labels Echocord and Echocord Colour, and the Pattern Repeat project with Resoe, he is also booker/co-owner/manager of the club Culture Box in Copenhagen. Sonitus Eco is the alias of Maltese producer/DJ/live performer Justin Meli. Sonitus Eco`s sound could be identified as Dark, Dub, Etheral, Analogue Techno. He is influenced by early electronic musicians like the BBC Radiophonic workshop artists, musique concrete and early industrial music like Throbbing Gristle and Coil. Refracted has released some of his dub-techno on labels such as Connwax and Silent Season. Deep rhythms and atmospheric elements have always played a major role in Refracted‘s music. Be it through hypnotic grooves or mesmerising soundscapes, the journey is always assured.
