30 Years Peaceful Revolution – Fall of the Berlin Wall
It’s hard to believe that 30 years have gone by since the fall of the Berlin Wall. Concurrently with the events in the next few years following this historic moment was the founding of Tresor Club, in the former East Berlin near Potsdamer Platz. Two cultures were suddenly thrown together harmoniously through music, and Tresor became a home for this cultural awakening. Tonight we pay homage to this phenomena, which we are proud to continue to support through the love of electronic music. On two floors we welcome the legendary founder of the Loveparade and an original Tresor Club and Tresor Records alumni, Dr. Motte. Also in Globus our good friend and frequent guest over the years Patrice Scott from Detroit, the tireless DJ and 90s Berlin techno author (‘Klang Der Familie”) Sven von Thülen and Modelmaker artist Qzen. In Tresor we welcome Spanish artist and no stranger to the decks Tadeo; the power basement duo Mad Max and Stevie D., back together for this momentous occasion; Madrid’s Unkle Fon and our own infectious techno resident DJ Dinamite. We look forward to celebrating a great night together, to remember, to dance and to love.
