Jorge Caiado is a dedicated house music lover who was taught the know-how in audio signal paths and production to become a licensed sound engineer. But it’s in the clubs that he’s learnt how to connect with the dancers. Absorbing a range of influences from bouncy Brazilian basslines to the various homesteads of American deep house, Jorge has been developing his own take on electronic dance music. At only 25, he’s already been DJing for eight years and currently working as a label manager assistant in Portuguese Groovement imprint. With forthcoming releases on Chicago’s Balance Recordings, Jorge is looking to cement that style with some moves of his own. French-natives Alan and Etienne aka Arcarsenal have gone on to position themselves as proponents of music as warm as their personalities. Using their shared studio as a base from which they craft their productions, the analogue set-up and penchant for improvisation and jams has led to enthralling releases on mighty Underground Quality, aside their own Bass Cadet Records imprint. Arcarsenal has been busy playing to parties across their adopted home town, Paris and the UK capital – sharing their love for the disco, house and techno that inspires them, whilst maintaining their own delectable style from dubby and ambient essays, spiritual house groovers and dark pounding tribal techno, their sound always shines with a special mark of dance-floor psychedelia. Juliano is from Lyon and has no limits in his mixes’ approach. Now Berlin-Based, he formed his own label That Place where he will soon release his first EP. Whether House, Techno, Disco and Funk, Juliano takes a set to higher dancefloor levels and welcome him back to House Of Waxx.
