Every Monday we involve different DJs, labels, residents, record shops to host a night with like-minded artists, BFFs and respected colleagues in Globus. The focus lies on vinyl DJing, buddy atmo and just flat-out good vibes. All in hyperfat sound, brought to you by Void Acoustics. Spin that mofo! Tomas Svensson is originally from Sweden, an amazing drummer/percussionist who is known – among other projects – for his collaboration with Oliver Deutschmann as Subbroom Association. We last got a chance to appreciate his sound in Tresor in 2011: since then Tomas Svensson has released an elegant and incredibly diverse solo album “Am I Networked” on Deutschmann’s Vidab imprint. From Gothenburg, Sweden, Joel Alter makes it difficult to pinpoint his style. Extremely diverse, including releases on contrasting labels Gigolo and M-nus, Joel Alter has his roots in the vibrant Gothenburg music scene of the late 80’s. Inspired by the funk movement and the growing rave scene, he started DJing in 1995. In 2011 he worked together with Henrik Jonsson as Jonsson/Alter and the album Mod was relased on the Swedish label Kontra Musik. Sharing the decks is Elie Eidelman: the NYC born and Israeli raised DJ has been playing for over 15 years around the globe bringing his unique blend and attitude to the dance floor and powerful Sweatlodge podcasts. While working behind the scene for JackOff, Sweat Lodge Radio and SLIM, Elie Eidelman is continually readying new productions and collaborations.
