House Of Waxx
Mon 27 March 2017 - 23:59

The Neovinyl crew sends a trio of house innovators for an evening of hot dancing. Certainly not a newcomer to the Globus Floor, returning artist Carlos Ãlvarez is Carlo, whose 2015 release on his and Baldo’s Neovinyl Recordings “Aliquindoi”, and “Forget Me Not” on his and Baldo’s second label Good Ratio Music, reveal a sophisticated, sparkling, elegant modern house music style just right for the Globus Floor. His excellent set at House Of Waxx last fall is still ringing in our ears. Label duo Riccardo Paffetti & Gabriele Micheli aka Black Loops make hot electronic funk and great fresh house. Imagine the early days Dirtybird sound cooked up with a bit of Berlin Techno effectivity and a pinch of Italian “touch”. Yes – there are some Italian 90ies house vibes in it. Black Loops have already taken italy by storm, throwing the famous MILK parties in Tuscany where they have been DJing with the likes of Audiojack, Eats everything, M.a.n.d.y., Brodinski, Smash TV, Danny Daze and many more. It’s been two years since Maik Yells joined the line-up for a Neovinyl label night in Tresor Club, and we welcome him back. Maik’s respect and appreciation for jazz, soul and funk soon developed into a keen interest in electronic music, and from there a full blown love affair with innovative house and minimal techno was born. London called, and Maik answered in 2004 when he quickly became a regular on the underground scene, and an instant hit at the now defunct, infamous Sunday night Retox party at London’s Sosho Match.
