House Of Waxx
Mon 24 July 2017 - 23:59

We welcome back House Of Waxx guest JM Moser, who is known in Berlin among other things, from his Brown Rice radio show on Berlin Community Radio every Wednesday from 10-11pm. BCR is an online radio station presenting everything that is coming from, passing through or influencing the creative scene in Berlin. Its aim is to bring together the continually evolving communities of the city and to establish a modern platform for cultural exchange. With shows about music, art, lifestyle and events, carefully curated and presented by a selection of contributors, it represents what Berlin is today to its citizens and the outside world. Aside from hosting the Brown Rice show, JM Moser features a freeform spectrum of ambient, dub, house or techno. Melbourne-born party planner, producer and DJ, Bell Towers has been making it rain melancholy tears on the dance-floor since he started playing records in 2008. His early sets (as Roman Wafers) revealed an adventurous collector with one ear for the esoteric and one for the floor, skating across Italo-disco, J-pop, new wave, house and techno with delicate grace. Alongside Misha Hollenbach (P.A.M.), Bell Towers pieced together a series of essential, irreverent mixes and established cult Melbourne party, Bamboo Musik (R.I.P.), a bi-monthly basement jam fabled for its spaced out music policy and obsessively detailed themes that became somewhat of a HQ for Melbourne heads and party people alike. From Sweden, Christian Olofsson, also know as Confetti, is a gangly master of eclectic selections whose insanely varied record bag is rivaled only by the number of striped shirts in his closet. His strange and alluring sets are always brimming with spectacular curios. It’s been one and a half years since his last appearance @ House Of Waxx and we welcome him back to the decks
