Returning HoW guest Stereociti was first discovered by Mike Huckaby in 2007. The Detroit legend introduced the Japanese producer to the world on his radio show. Immediately after the broadcast of the program, Stereociti released his debut EP “Citifunk EP” and joined a compilation “Up to the Surface” with producers such as Baaz and Scott Ferguson. Stereociti released his first full-length album “Kawasaki” on Mojuba. It was highly acclaimed by both dance music fans and critics, and is already regarded as a milestone in the history of deep house music. Stereociti’s sources of influence are not only House and Techno music from Chicago and Detroit, but Jazz, Fusion, Dub, Rare Grooves and Japanese pop music of the 80’s. We are also glad to have French-natives Alan and Etienne aka Arcarsenal back on the decks, the duo has positioned itself as proponents of music as warm as their personalities. Using their shared studio as a base from which they craft their productions, the analogue set-up and penchant for improvisation and jams has led to enthralling releases on mighty Underground Quality, aside from their own Bass Cadet Records imprint. Arcarsenal has been busy playing to parties across their adopted hometown, Paris and the UK capital – sharing their love for the disco, house and techno that inspires them, whilst maintaining their own delectable style from dubby and ambient essays, spiritual house groovers and dark pounding tribal techno, their sound always shines with a special mark of dance-floor psychedelia. French-born Barcelona-based DJ and entrepreneur Laura BCR is a busy woman with a solar presence. She runs On Board Music and had been co-running Bass Cadet Record Store in Berlin before its closure. Operating on all fronts of the music industry with inexhaustible poise and energy, she keeps undertaking exciting new ventures, looking to break boundaries between genres and the usual calibration of normative dance music.
