Returning House Of Waxx artist Cinthie is a Berlin-based DJ and producer, and the creative mind behind the Beste Modus and Unison Wax record labels. Linked by a shared penchant for good house music and a love of Berlin’s unending parties, the crew have already pressed four eagerly-sought-after white label 12″s together. If that wasn’t enough, Cinthie also owns and runs the ‘Stasi Studios’ complex – so called because the building once functioned as a Stasi office! After many years of musical activism, deejaying, productions and the opening and running of a record shop, French artist Bertrand Lacroix presents his new solo producer project: Môme, which is mainly a blend of all his early influences and former experiences. The basic foundation of Môme’s sound is House with slight accents of Deep, Acid and Techno music. And we welcome back the slick and sophisticated house sounds of Frankfurt’s Robert Drewek, founder of Rawax: providing delicious sets of groovy house with techno impressions, Robert founded his own record distribution DBH Music in 2007 with Alex Bau and Jörg Henze. The tight cooperation between Rawax and House Of Waxx has continued a formidable cooperation with Monday nights in Tresor Club. Today DBH is one of the most important record distributions for electronic music and the home of Drewek’s Rawax which had an amazing impact in the scene from day one.
