Romanian artist Laurentiu Gavrila aka Funk E’s future really began to take shape in 2008 when he secured a residency at the most musically forward-thinking party in Ibiza, The Zoo Project, where he played week in and week out every summer to thousands of party-goers. A respected producer as well as DJ, Funk E likes to keep things simple when it comes to music. He quite simply loves what he does and is inspired the most by the people around him. He has a raw passion and dedication for his craft, and has garnered respect from some of the biggest names in House and Techno. Bjarnar Jonsson is Ohm, one of the leading figures in the Icelandic contemporary techno scene. Widely associated with iconic labels such as Thule Records and Force Inc, Rawax,Taped artifact and Kontakt, Ohm stays true to his roots by consistently innovating his interpretation of techno music, intergrating soul and innovation with the scene. Aside from his production work on top labels, he has been a regular guest at the legendary techno club Culture Box in Copenhagen. Ohm’s signature sounds are playful tribal grooves, ruff basslines, smoked out sounds flying around, morphing vocal stabs. Between pure techno, banging dub techno tracks, tracks old and new, Ohm communicates his message with an apparent effortlessness. Israeli DJ and producer Hadas Cohen aka Dasco is full of exciting influences. House, Disco, Techno, Acid, Tribal – no matter what the musical genre is, each and every one of her DJ sets sounds like one interesting, fascinating story full with inspiration. With a penchant for hunting down unique and uplifting rhythms and melodies on wax, Dasco is especially drawn to the music of Detroit and Chicago. In October 2017, Dasco released her own debut EP called “Memories” on Rawax sub-label Housewax together with her Israeli studio-partner PRZ. One to watch, Dasco’s careful attention to detail and raw unbridled passion see her connect deeply with audiences with every record, continuing her mission to push boundaries and create something long lasting with her art.
