House Of Waxx
Mon 19 November 2018 - 23:59

In an age of endless house sound-alikes, Monika Ross constantly raises her head above the barrier. A radio host, producer and dj, the Aussie born spinstress built her grounding in Sydney before immersing herself in London’s well nurtured house and techno scene. It’s been a breakthrough couple of years for Monika. 2013 until the present has seen her cut up the dance floor in many of the world’s best venues and tonight we are pleased to welcome her to the House Of Waxx decks. Loquace is a  DJ and producer from France. In 2010, he felt the desire to create his own musical entity, which gave birth to Earlydub Records. Now, his label is appreciated and playlisted by many artists around the world. Loquace’s approach to music is intuitive, creative and representative of his emotions. It is a real means of communication. This self-taught DJ enjoys being on scene just as much as spending hours alone in a studio or with his acolytes Yamen & Eda, who then became the trio LYE. Julie Marghilano is a broadly informed DJ, truly experimental house producer and taste-making label boss who, with friend Miss Jools, has built a compact and bijou empire around her Sol Asylum label and party, and is very much defining the modern house and techno landscape. Whether it is transforming pizzicato into dark sub basses, creating sweet synth sounds out of violin loops or simply making a live orchestration on the fly, Julie is continuously creating new and unique sounds. With a new live show in the works, more EPs being made and the continuation of her Sol Asylum label and regular parties in Berlin, Julie’s musical journey is making for an exciting ride.
