Certainly no stranger to Tresor Club, Matthew Puffett aka Future Beat Alliance brings back a lost aesthetic to Techno, utilizing his experienced ear for production and his pursuit for progressing the music with visions of the future. After having released some respected works on top labels, in 2011 Future Beat Alliance signed to our Tresor Records label and also started a monthly residency (Radio Drama) in our home, where Matthew has played alongside top international talents. In 2012 he started his own label “FBA Recordings” for quite some time now it’s been Matthew`s ambition to have creative control over his music. Most of you will know Thomas Hammann from his mix CD for Live at Robert Johnson, a collaboration with Gerd Janson. Hammann is a DJ since the early 80s and few have soaked up German house history like him: What fire Ata Macias kindled with the Wild Pitch Club during the mid-nineties in Frankfurt, Thomas Hammann ignited at the Kesselhaus in nearby Darmstadt. In July, Thomas debuted as a producer on Workshop, under the name 808 mate: with nothing less but a Grace Kelly of a house track, luminously beautiful. And you’re treated to yet another sophisticated set this month from Frankfurt’s Robert Drewek, founder of Rawax: providing delicious sets of groovy house with techno impressions, Robert founded his own record distribution DBH Music in 2007 with Alex Bau and Jörg Henze. The tight cooperation between Rawax and House Of Waxx has continued a formidable cooperation with Monday nights in Tresor Club. Today DBH is one of the most important record distributions for electronic music and the home of Drewek’s Rawax which had an amazing impact in the scene from day one.
