A frequent guest in our home, head of Paso Music and “Members” in Berlin, as a DJ, producer and label-owner Marc Miroir has been around the scene on a national and international level since 1993 and is therefore far from being a flash in the pan or a one-hit-wonder. Marc Miroir is considered by many as the man who contributes his special touch to every party by a mixture of charisma and his particular choice of music. His vast experience as a DJ and his ability to create a journey from deep house to banging techno in his long sets make Miroir a sure-fire crowd mover at the best clubs world-wide. Music made for dancing, created by hypnotic, groovy and sometimes also strange sounds, is his first aim. After moving to Berlin in 2007 Marc Miroir released numerous well-received EPs and finally in 2012 his full-length album “Hitting Home” was released on Paso, setting the path for this unique artist. The next step on Miroir’s path is now his second album ‚Identity Kit‘ which will be announced by 2 EPs including great remixes by Matthew Styles, Diego Krause and Handmade&Kia. Since Akirahawks settled down for good in Berlin, he has been spreading thick sheets of intergalactic space-funk over various crowds at some of the German capital’s top underground local clubs. Also deeply involved in the record label game, Akirahawks runs the ‘House Mannequin’ imprint alongside his label partner Shingo Suwa, which has enjoyed major support from true “wide-eyed” House legends. Pushing quality over quantity, the releases are known for their raw, alternative and versatile disco / house sounds and are an accurate reflection of Akira‘s tastes and selections when he’s playing out. Returning HoW artist Ady Toledano is a DJ about town in Berlin, this Israeli DJ is no stranger to the German capital’s scene. In the last year Ady Toledano has been playing in some of Berlin’s most profiled clubs and parties, including our home for for a vinyl-only set. Ady has been playing with the likes of President Bongo (Gusgus) , Andrew Butler (Hercules and Love Affair), Hard Ton and Carsten Jost (Dial), and is well known for long sets that combine house, techno, disco, and even pop to create a unique story.
