Formerly of Chicago, returning HoW artist Jacob Meehan got his start on the airwaves of WLUW 88.7FM, behind the counter at Gramaphone Records, and as a resident at Smart Bar.  Starting in 2011 Meehan and his friends (Harry Cross, Anthony “Ace” Pabey, and Mister Wallace) made a lasting mark on Chicago’s music scene with an underground party called Men’s Room, which attempted to update Chicago’s stale gay scene — both in musical taste and sexual attitude, breathing new life into old pre-AIDS venues like The Bijou Theater and The Jackhammer Complex. In September 2016 Meehan relocated to Berlin, where he has gigged successfully in popular Berlin underground venues. He is resident DJ at Buttons in Berlin and also a part of the organizing committee of Whole Festival. We also welcome back artist Ady Toledano, a DJ about town in Berlin, this Israeli DJ is no stranger to the German capital’s scene. In the last year Ady Toledano has been playing in some of Berlin’s most profiled clubs and parties, including our home for for a vinyl-only set. Ady has been playing with the likes of President Bongo (Gusgus) , Andrew Butler (Hercules and Love Affair), Hard Ton and Carsten Jost (Dial), and is well known for long sets that combine house, techno, disco, and even pop to create a unique story. One of the crew behind Eat More Beef Music, Santiago Lecce aka DJ Teeth knows how to serve it up to the most carnivorous’ house music diners. Starting out secretly playing his ex boyfriend´s records, the Buenos Aires born again Berliner became a full time party criminal by keeping half of the collection and making it his own. DJ booker by day, DJ Teeth certainly can get the most stubborn herd moving by night.
