House of Waxx
Mon 22 July 2019 - 23:59

Constantly swimming in aural pleasures, you’ll either find Adi Toohey controlling the dancefloor from a Sydney DJ booth, presenting Saturday Sunset on FBi Radio, working in record stores or hosting parties with her Rimbombo crew. Adi’s been keeping windows down and stereos up for four solid years of prime time broadcasting on FBi Radio. While her own FM blends always satisfy, the show has also featured live cameos from many well-known artists. Adi Toohey has traveled the world playing at top venues and they can be grateful for her vibin’ mixes of jazzy house, boogie and subterranean club music on Boiler Room, NTS, Feel My Bicep, Sanpo Disco and Libra Mix. Thomas Ward aka Toma Kami is a producer and DJ based in Paris, founder of the label Man Band. His dazzling, gutsy 2018 EP “Sharp Tool In The Shed / Land Of The Insane“ had quite an impact on dancefloors. Very autonomous in what he undertakes, he self-released his first EP on his forementioned imprint. His sets and productions were noticed by the Bristolian label Banoffee Pies Records as well. JM Moser is certainly no stranger to House Of Waxx, and is also known in Berlin among other things, from his Brown Rice radio show on Berlin Community Radio every Wednesday from 10-11pm. BCR is an online radio station presenting everything that is coming from, passing through or influencing the creative scene in Berlin. Its aim is to bring together the continually evolving communities of the city and to establish a modern platform for cultural exchange. With shows about music, art, lifestyle and events, carefully curated and presented by a selection of contributors, it represents what Berlin is today to its citizens and the outside world. Aside from hosting the Brown Rice show, JM Moser features a freeform spectrum of ambient, dub, house or techno and he is always a welcome HoW guest.
