Returning artist and multitalent Tobi Neumann lives in Berlin. He’d already made himself a name as producer of commercial jingles and movie soundtracks when he got infected with electronic music at the ’95 Love Parade. Soon he’d become resident DJ at Munich’s Ultraschall II where he hosted the legendary Flokati House Club since 1998. Tobi Neumann is now in the artist roster of Sven Väth’s DJ-booking agency Cocoon. His productions for Chicks On Speed, 2Raumwohnung, Miss Kittin a.o. made Tobi Neumann one of the driving forces in the German house and electro scene. We also welcome back to the House of Waxx decks artist Sakro from Mexico, a year after his last appearance, representing the new wave of electronic music DJs and producers who are leaving their mark in the international scene. With his House and Minimal influences, Jazz, Soul, Hip-Hop from Detroit and Chicago, Sakro sets his unique style in each of his productions and performances. His productions have been released in both formats, digital and vinyl, on top international labels. He has stood out for his productions since many years, in 2017 his EP on Raum…musik was called one of the best releases of the year according to Resident Advisor and DJ Mag. And a Rawax evening is not without the slick and sophisticated house sounds of Frankfurt’s Robert Drewek, founder of Rawax: providing delicious sets of groovy house with techno impressions, Robert founded his own record distribution DBH Music in 2007 with Alex Bau and Jörg Henze. The tight cooperation between Rawax and House Of Waxx has continued a formidable cooperation with Monday nights in Tresor Club. Today DBH is one of the most important record distributions for electronic music and the home of Drewek’s Rawax which had an amazing impact in the scene from day one.
