House of Waxx
Mon 26 August 2019 - 23:59

Get Perlonized, hosted and curated by Sammy Dee, is one of the most prestigious club events Europe-wide. It has a certain illuminating power up it’s sleeve, that can not be gained by promotional exuberance or by worshipping at the altar of capital return; but with musical consistency – keywords that encompass and define everything the Berlin born artist does. Sammy Dee is one half of the House project Pantytec who released their debut album “Pony Slaystation” in 2002 and toured around the world twice. Thanks to his splendid DJ skills he is resident in famous clubs such as E-Werk, Robert Johnson, Ostgut or in our home and tonight we welcome him to the House Of Waxx decks! One could start by saying Melina is a Hamburg based DJ/producer and that her career started in a friend’s living room, moving its way through London and Hamburg to the world. Covering a sweeping variety of genres, Melina is hardly to be put into a certain box. Always based on groove, her timeless music selection as well as her affinity to the extraordinary combined with oldschool beats form Melina’s very own energetic mixing and dancing style in which anything from disco to UK, from Chicago to Detroit and back to techno can happen. Together with Jakob Seidensticker, Boronas and Snad she runs the label We R The Aliens. Jakob Seidensticker’s vinyl-only DJ sets captivate through his broad number of styles from melting house, old school house, via romanian techno to broken beats and Italo House, while also playing his own productions and track ideas – always on point. Jakob Seidensticker is one third of the internationally known and highly respected trio Wareika, alongside Henrik Raabe and Florian Schirmacher. Touring around the world they have been producing and releasing music on premium labels, such as Perlon, Visionquest, Circus Company and Mule Musiq, just to name a few. As a second live project, Jakob is also touring with his fellow Wareika companion Henrik Raabe as Silky Raven, spreading an even more synthesizer based sound – for example on Damian Lazarus label Rebellion/Crosstown Rebels or with the lebanese producer Nesta to honour the oriental sound and traditions in a modernly way.
