Jade’s introduction to DJing came back in 2008 when a friend and mentor, DJ/producer Jonny White (Art Department) , invited her to play at a party for his now infamous label, no.19. Jonny White, having spotted Jade’s musical potential, took her under his wing, guiding her through her exploration of and experimentation with electronic music from the very beginning. Jade‘s potential, combined with hard work and a desire to evolve her talent, led her out from behind the decks and into the studio; there, she created a sound that was sexy, organic and all her own. Deep, dark, fat bass lines accompanied by solid hi hat patterns became part of a signature sound that Jade finally shared with the world in 2012 when she released her first record “Try Again” – Jade (Canada) on none other than electronic label, no.19. It’s been over a year since Berlin-based artist Denite manned the House Of Waxx decks, and artist who started DJing in the late 90s. In 2002, a move to Frankfurt introduces him to Drum&Bass via the local scene, sparking his interest for electronic music and the jazzy and soulful side of Drum&Bass in particular. In 2003 Denite moves to Thessaloniki in Greece where he plays his first DJ sets and produces his first tracks signed as Gari Marcos. 2008 sees him move back to Spain and begin work on his new house-oriented Project, taking on the moniker of Denite and touring with a lauded live set. Denite’s productions are highly influenced by his time he spent playing in live bands and by the more rhythmic and melody-driven Drum&Bass of the early 2000s. These influences are perceptible in his drums, bass lines, melodies, percussive grooves and his characteristic sound and touch on keys. Berlin-based DJ Gavio began his career as a DJ but quickly converted into a music producer, and then went one step further and launched his own music label ‘Casetta Records’ which he manages with two partners. Gavio has always had a heavy penchant for Soul and Funky music which he developed from his fascination of music played from old records. Gavio skilfully combines Deep House and House with unique sounds and techniques he picks up from these other genres he listens to. This skill makes his tracks inherently melodic and captivating.
