John Barera is a DJ/producer & label owner based in New York City. He has been active as a DJ for 15 years and his musical style weaves mostly between techno and house. Resident Advisor called him one of the “New York techno scene’s hardest-working DJs.” John Barera has been releasing music since 2011 and he has played at clubs and events around North America and Europe. John Barera has released on several labels and his debut album ‘Graceless’ was released on Dolly alongside Will Martin in 2014. John founded a techno/acid focused party and label with Volvox called Jack Dept. The coveted Brooklyn monthly began at Bossa Nova Civic Club in 2014 and the first releases came in 2016. John is also the head of Supply Records alongside Soren Jahan – a vinyl only imprint featuring an eclectic range of house and techno. Gwenan discovered dance music one night in 2007 and has never looked back. After a few years as a Londoner, dancing and playing at parties including Undersound, Toi Toi, and her own HiFi, as well as gigs overseas in Paris, Ljubljana, and as far afield as Tokyo, Gwenan‘s path has recently led her to Berlin, where she is attempting to take all this a bit more seriously. While techno is her first love, Gwenan can occasionally be found playing ambient and experimental records for projects including Experiment Intrinsic, Perm, and My Own Jupiter. Gwenan is a resident at The Pickle Factory in London. Known by Berlin clubbers from his underground techno and house sets in the Germany capital, frequent Tresor Club guest Wittes of the infamous Deep Fried events, returns to the Globus decks to add his selektor talents to the roster tonight.
