Elliott Litrowski: one would indeed be hard-pressed to pin down the French-born, Copenhagen-based producer to a single genre or aesthetic, so much his craft defies the conventions of floor-calibrated music while opening the scope onto further meditation-friendly rhythms and abstract atmospherics. Litrowski’s shrewd signature sound – an effervescing meshwork of Italo-Disco romantics, comsic-informed electro, breaksy progs and EBM-tinged rhythmic outbursts, has since been featured on David Vunk’s ever impeccably curated Moustache Records, via what’s certainly his most accomplished record to date, ‘Schmock Machine’. Now firmly established in Copenhagen where he can synch his passion for music and his work as an architect, Eliott has found more of the space and time required to deploy his vision. Natascha Kann has been involved in the clubbing scene since 2000. smelts nineties house music, Detroit-techno and Chicago-house, and oxygenizes them with a hint of acid, there’s always a fleeting, melancholic resonance. Her blunt directness goes straightforward: her techno not too tough, her house not too soft. Clear and simple, no detours, old mixed with new. And every once in a while some soul vocals, giving away Natascha Kann’s love for black music and the 80’s. Amapola Ibieta aka Diamin is a DJ and vinyl collector born in Chile and based in Buenos Aires. Diamin’s sets cover a wide range of musical genres. She is a perfectionist, very much concerned about musical environment and atmosphere, paying special attention to unique tones. Her particular mapping of electronic music explores the roots of House and Techno, focusing on the way this sounds cross paths with Synth Pop, Ambient and Krautrock and subgenres like Breakbeat, New Beat, Electro and Acid. Since 2014 Diamin is part of the DJ collective Family Affair, which is still active and influential on the local scene and beyond. A few years ago, she was also running a party called Transitions at Cocoliche in Buenos Aires. Now Diamin is a resident at two key parties: New Trash is The New Acid (C.A.B.A.) and Lacura (La Plata).
