Every Monday we involve different DJs, labels, residents or record shops to host a night with like-minded artists, BFFs and respected colleagues in Globus. The focus lies in vinyl DJing, buddy atmo and just flat-out good vibes. All in hyperfat sound, brought to you by Void Acoustics. Spin that mofo! From Gothenburg, Sweden, Joel Alter makes it difficult to pinpoint his style. Extremely diverse, including releases on contrasting labels Gigolo and M-nus, Joel Alter has his roots in the vibrant Gothenburg music scene of the late 80’s. Inspired by the funk movement and the growing rave scene, he started DJing in 1995. In 2011 he worked together with Henrik Jonsson as Jonsson/Alter and the album Mod was relased on the Swedish label Kontra Musik. Berlin-based Italian Filippo Moscatello, with his choice to retire his DJ Naughty alias and creating the new FNM one, is representing a shift back to his techno and house roots after a decade of eclectic electro mischief. Churning out disco-charged house sets, he is equally prolific as a remix artist and producer, and Filippo has reinvigorated tracks for artists of the caliber of Goldfrapp, Fischerspooner and Kosheen, and recently Roisin Murphy to mention but a few.
