Every Monday we involve different DJs, labels, residents or record shops to host a night with like-minded artists, BFFs and respected colleagues in Globus. The focus lies in vinyl DJing, buddy atmo and just flat-out good vibes. All in hyperfat sound, brought to you by Void Acoustics. Spin that mofo! Freestyle Man is the first alter ego used by the well-known and respected producer Klas Sasse Lindblad, aka Sasse. His first releases came out in the late 90s on PUU/Sähkö together with Jimi Tenor to much acclaim. In 2000 Freestyle Man released his first album “Going South” on Sähkö/EFA. Ten years later and after a series of singles, remixes and compilations (compiles the long running Nightstarter compilation on Moodmusic) the man was back with a full-length album on the UK imprint Hairy Claw called “The Bottom Line”. After many more successful releases, today the Freestyle Man persona stands for deep old school house music. A place where vinyl is king. Real house music for the real house heads. Sasse‘s right-hand man Ed Ed is a Berlin based artist and producer with a Canadian background. His style of music comprises deep house as well as tech-Hhouse and techno: clean lines, vibrant bass, cool energy to make his sets a worldwide success. Felix Göllner is Flexonaut, a Berlin-based DJ who many underground nightcrawlers will know already from his vinyl-only, highly enjoyable house sets.
