Every Monday we involve different DJs, labels, residents or record shops to host a night with like-minded artists, BFFs and respected colleagues in Globus. The focus lies in vinyl DJing, buddy atmo and just flat-out good vibes. All in hyperfat sound, brought to you by Void Acoustics. Spin that mofo! The Rawax Globus settlement continues: with influences ranging from early house and disco to turntablism and techno, Brett Johnson successfully straddles the line between knowledgeable “thinking man’s” DJ and genuine, primal floor-filler. Brett‘s sound is best known as groovy, bumping house with a hearty dose of techno elements, crafted and mixed in a way that is truly identifiable as his own. Whether DJing or creating music, his wild card is an ability to inject warmth and soul into his electronic sound. UK artist Andrew Cole is Luv Jam, with alises like Glyn Ceriog or Flyypost, we’re pleased to have him on the decks during his very busy summer schedule all over Europe, delivering a sumptuous set of very dreamy house for your pleasure. Gena Ivanov aka Brother G is a Ukrainian DJ/producer. Being one of Ukraine’s young electronic dance music scene pioneers, he started playing in clubs and took the first steps into producing in the late 90s, repeatedly changing his sound from hip-hop/jungle/idm to the deep & warm techno and house music you hear today. Brother G has also published a series of releases under other aliases; G- Transition, Target 27 and Head 278 on numerous labels including his own label Mysterious Russian Soul. In addition to his hard work in the studio, Brother G is an international DJ moving the crowds across his country and abroad, as part of the Rawax booking agency crew.
(**Note**: Berlin DJ Damian.Thorn will replace Brother G for tonight’s line-up)
