Every Monday we involve different DJs, labels, residents or record shops to host a night with like-minded artists, BFFs and respected colleagues in Globus. The focus lies in vinyl DJing, buddy atmo and just flat-out good vibes. All in hyperfat sound, brought to you by Void Acoustics. Spin that mofo! Over the past 5 years Berlin born and bred Tristen has made a name for himself as DJ, producer, as well as label manager and A&R for his own imprint Aim Vinyl. After having released on numerous distinguished labels, he fully committed to his vision of beautifully crafted house music and founded Aim Vinyl in 2010. It is the same keen eye for the detail that can be found in Tristen’s DJ sets and has gathered him a loyal following far beyond the Berlin club mile. With a distinctive selection track and a unique feel for the crowd he will continue to inspire crowds around the globe. Johannes Albert, using his alter ego “vinylgroover”, followed in the footprints of his local heros that gave him the classic knowledge of being a DJ: great selection of music, variety, a smile in your eye, some technique hints, playing a hit at the right time and last but not least: keeping the fun on the dancefloor. His roots are definitely disco and boogie music. Johannes thinks: “no boogie, no party”. After releasing some very fancy house tunes on a handful of familiar labels, 2011 saw the first stamped-12-inch release of his new-born label called “Frank Music” where he’s releasing some own tunes as well as friends’ stuff. Tilmann Tausendfreund started writing music as the singer of a punkband and began to DJ in the late 90s. When he moved to Hamburg in 2006 he got the chance to play some club gigs that helped him get into the shizzle-whizzle-house-business very quickly. He loves to play raw house music and put out some tracks, collaborations and remixes on diverse labels.
