House Of Waxx
Mon 20 July 2015 - 23:59

Every Monday we involve different DJs, labels, residents or record shops to host a night with like-minded artists, BFFs and respected colleagues in Globus. The focus lies in vinyl DJing, buddy atmo and just flat-out good vibes. All in hyperfat sound, brought to you by Void Acoustics. Spin that mofo! For over 15 years Dorian Paic has been running Raum…Musik together with Olaf Zern. A passionate lover of vinyl, Dorian revels in the unique warmth and analogue sound of black wax. Adding to this are the slick and sophisticated house sounds of Frankfurt’s Robert Drewek, founder of Rawax: providing delicious sets of groovy house with techno impressions, he founded his own record distribution DBH Music in 2007 with Alex Bau and Jörg Henze. Today DBH is one of the most important record distributions for electronic music and the home of Rawax which had an amazing impact in the scene from day one. There was quite a bit of buzz following Robin Scholz’s “Retrospective” release on Rawax in 2013, DeBug calling it “wonderful” and beaming with old school qualities with a modern face. Although the young Frankfurt artist can also mystify with a live set, he is prepared to groove you tonight on the turntables with his vinyl talent.
