Guido Schneider has been producing electronic music for more than 10 years now. Strongly influenced by EBM he started his first project in 1991 with a friend; his first records released on SPV. Known for his collaborations with Florian Schirmacher as Glowing Glisses and his numerous Poker Flat releases, Guido recently joined forces with his old friend Sammy Dee (Pantytec) again, with whom he had worked years ago as Schneider & Radecki. The result of this reunion was the Poker Flat 12″ ‘Styleways’ (pfr63), which also was licensed to Richie Hawtin’s ‘DE9: Transitions’ album. A nice welcome back to young DJ Pascal Hetzel who made his first mark with his remix for KiNK and Sierra Sam’s “My Space” on Upon. You, which was initially released as a digital-only track, but it did so well, that Upon. You head honcho Marco Resmann decided to press it as a one-sided white label, which now has been repressed twice. With continual international gigs coming his way, he is a talent to watch. David Delgado, born in Bogota but now based in Berlin, has a distinctive style that merges a weave of drawn-out layered techy bass lines with a catchy overlying house groove perfect for the dance floor. A great energy to his club performances, and a musical taste outside of the electronic field based on hip-hop, funk and soul – David Delgado‘s crisp tech-house sets are a gem.
