Every Monday House Of Waxx involves different DJs, labels, residents or record shops to host a night with like-minded artists, BFFs and respected colleagues in Globus. The focus lies in vinyl DJing, buddy atmo and just flat-out good vibes. All in hyperfat sound, brought to you by Void Acoustics. Spin that mofo! John Barera has been a firm disciple of the House and Techno world for the past 10 years, and after co-founding Supply Records in 2011 has brought an elegant, resoundingly universal mixture of underground club tracks to the fore. As a DJ John Barera always puts in a little extra work to keep the dance floor engaged and the party special. Always collecting and listening to records of all kinds, his sets have been known to go over well. When he’s not DJing, John is hard at work in the studio. Outside of Supply Records, he has released music on labels like Dolly, Dirt Crew Recordings, Soul Clap, Ortloff, Jackoff and Ecstasy records. His project B-Tracks, alongside label partner Soren Jahan, has also released four EPs so far. In October of 2014, John released his well-received debut album ‘Graceless’ alongside Will Martin on Dolly and they begun to play live sets together. Will Martin is a producer, DJ, record collector and music lover from Boston based in Brooklyn, New York. Tonight we’re treated to a B2B set of top-notch house music from these two dynamic artists. L.A.-born and Berlin-based, Steve Huerta is a producer and instrumentalist. With a style founded on classic house sensibilities, Huerta‘s distinctive productions reveal a broad range of influence and reverent musicality. His music is released on Dirt Crew Recordings and many more. We also welcome back Yooj back to House Of Waxx: Yooj is a Berlin-based producer & DJ from San Francisco, California. He released his first tracks in the summer of 2011 on Monique Musique, and his first solo EP, ‘Mademoiselle’ climbed high up the tech house charts, backed by a powerful Martin Buttrich remix.
