Amsterdam clubbing these days wouldn’t be the same without the ongoing efforts of DJ/producer/promoter/label owner and returning artist Carlos Valdes. Not only has he enriched the city’s nightlife with a series of refreshing initiatives, but also introduced new artists from abroad and pushed a young generation of local talent. Carlos Valdes has also managed to become one of Holland’s most respected and loved underground DJs, setting dancefloors aflame across the Netherlands and abroad. Sankt Göran is also no stranger to the Globus decks. The bubbling house and garage records of the late 90’s paved the way for Sankt Göran’s musical exploration and brick by brick he constructed his sound, from glimmering disco cuts to throbbing house: one of Gotheburg’s most prolific DJs and promoters, he makes dance floors crack and basements rock, and formed his own label The Free Spirit Society in 2012. After moving to Berlin in 2013 he has quickly forged his way into the German capital’s club scene. Completing the program is returning artist Lola Luc: if you imagine the blossoming DJ landscape of Berlin as a wild and colorful garden with sunlight, farina and fragrances hovering above it, you will – sooner or later but inevitably – notice one flower standing out: Lola Luc. Over the last couple of years this girl has shed the expensive snake skin of a mere club-kid and has developed taste and skill behind the decks of the most relevant Berlin hot spots, radio waves and beyond. In 2015 Lola Luc also began hosting a show at Berlin Community Radio blending a mix of House, Disco, Funk, Soul with Afrobeat, Reggae and dubby sounds. It’s been 6 months since her last appearance in Tresor Club and we welcome her back.
