We are pleased to welcome an exceptional talent to our decks for the second party of 2020. Traversable Wormhole is one of two live projects of Adam X and his most popular project to date. After its start in 2009 as a series of anonymously produced ink stamped vinyl that stirred the global techno scene with its mysterious guise, the project quickly received huge support from many of the world’s most renowned techno shops and globally respected DJs. Traversable Wormhole tracks have been remixed by some of the best in the scene and released on Chris Liebing’s imprint CLR and Traversable Wormhole Records. The sound of Traversable Wormhole is a unique sci-fi laden techno with gaps of time, space & bass in between sound & rhythm. Juan Rico aka Reeko is certainly no stranger to our home. Reeko finds himself, unexpectedly but deservedly, among the elite of Hispanic techno. He began DJing in 1997 but it wasn’t until his first release in 2002 under the Swedish label Emergence that he became known professionally. Using various aliases over the years, under the name of Reeko he has released huge techno productions on a slew of famous labels which have charted and been played by the best DJs in the world. Reeko created Mental Disorder, his “pathological” label/laboratory, in 2003 under which he has released 12 works of ever increasing quality. Next came the label Evidence in 2005, where he opens up to his passion for the darkest and sickest part of the human mind. Eventually Reeko joined the cream of techno: the PoleGroup, formed in 2008 featuring high-profiled Spanish artists Exium and Christian Wunsch. Returning Brit artist Stephanie Sykes belongs to the league of yet young artists, a fact that is hard to believe when you consider her Fullpanda debut “Luna Tactus” together with Fjäder aka Ina Matsdotter. Her ambient-techno concepts are accessible and positioned for special cold and lonely hours. This is due partly to her residency at the revived tradition night Atomic Jam, where Sykes regularly provides the sound of one of techno’s cutting-edge epicenters: Birmingham. Just over a year after his debut @ Tresor New Faces, we welcome back Exterminador, the DJ alias of Mario Resta, a similar multi-tasking music collector, label owner, professional record spinner and analogue techno/electro producer with a deep back catalogue of ultra savvy records both as a solo artist and one half of live techno act Hinode. The duo ran Science Fiction Records together from 2014 and Resta launched his solo imprint in 2016. Exterminador Records focuses on OG electro and leftfield techno and the vinyl comes resplendent in dope artwork. Upcoming releases will touch on electro, wave, industrial and ambient. Resta was a key figure in the establishment of The Record Loft in Berlin and continues his involvement in the local scene as the founder of the party series Tales of the Evil Empire at Ohm. In Globus: Fred P and his live act Black Jazz Consortium have truly captivated the house fraternity of late with his deep as the ocean house cuts on his very own Soul People Music as well as on Underground Quality. Fred, JusEd, Dj Qu & Levon Vincent became much more than just New York DJs and producers, they truly captivated and captured audiences from all over the place with their highly intoxicating take on house music. We welcome back the iconic artist Fred P. tonight with a terrific Black Jazz Consortium live set! Music has always coursed through frequent Tresor Club guest Roman Lindau‘s veins ever since he was a young boy so it is no surprise that he became the accomplished producer and highly respected DJ that he is today. Combining a varied selection of raw house and techno in his sets, recent bookings have taken Roman across the world and in 2015 he celebrated 8 Years of Fachwerk Records with his label partners Sascha Rydell and Mike Dehnert. We welcome back Italians Salvatore Iannotta & Giuseppe Salone aka Subradeon: after sponsoring various events in their home country, they moved to Berlin in 2013. February 2016 marked their official debut with the release of their first digital release, “South Connection” on Detroit’s Motech Records. The result is Subradeon’s sound that recalls Detroit Techno, but at the same time also emphasizes the new European sounds. One thing is clear, from the first listen one can appreciate their innovative ability, their creativity in mixing their styles, honoring the pure techno sound with the soul of Motown combined with elements that range from hip hop to jazz, from funk to soul. Tresor Club resident DJ Barbara Preisinger, who heads her own vinyl label Slice Of Life, curates her Deep In The Box evenings in Tresor once a month, whole nights of warm, kicking house and deep techno with cutting-edge international house DJs, something that fans of the night have come to thoroughly enjoy. From her hometown of Munich to success in Berlin, Barbara founded first the “scape” label with Stefan Betke aka Pole and became a regular DJ in many Berlin clubs. Her passion is to play for the dancefloor, mixing kicking house and deep techno – often incorporating the music of many notable guest friends and artists.
