Excellent house DJ Ron Wilson, boss at 777 Recordings, captain at Submarine and head at Tanzmichmal turns out some turntable mastery again for this Summer Special on the Globus Floor to get your summer spirit rolling this Thursday. Deep and rich diversity is Ron Wilson’s motto and a selection of guests prove the point. Annanan is always seeking new sounds with old machines, unorthodox chord progressions and memorable melodies. Always improvising live together with the love and the heart of the real soul singer Ennalow. Annanan keeps the vibe correct as DJ while using vinyl only and a bitter sweet of taste, aspiring to the only true way of learning music by machine learning algorithms. Returning artist Johannes Albert, using his alter ego “vinylgroover”, followed in the footprints of his local heros that gave him the classic knowledge of being a DJ: great selection of music, variety, a smile in your eye, some technique hints, playing a hit at the right time and last but not least: keeping the fun on the dancefloor. His roots are definitely disco and boogie music. Johannes thinks: “no boogie, no party”. After releasing some very fancy house tunes on a handful of familiar labels, 2011 saw the first stamped-12-inch release of his new-born label called “Frank Music” where he’s releasing some own tunes as well as friends’ stuff. Djaying since 1999, Erwan is now based in Berlin and records for the label Meurvor. He plays house, techno, (real) electro, depending on the party context and the mood, doing the best selection he can of new and old records. After settling in Berlin in 2004, Erwan became nfluenced by all the music experiences in the German capital, and he widened the spectrum of music he plays from deep house to techno, through electro and synth pop.
