The countdown to 2015 starts tonight in Tresor with the Final Knall – the final bang! With us to celebrate are Marieu and Lucretio – the Analogue Cops: dedicated to the preservation of analogue, defenders of vinyl and enemies of digital downloads – dig it. Raw and funky, they are are pledged in a more dub and deep house oriented project, but always deeply influenced by their passion for American music. Berlin-based DJ and producer Oliver Deutschmann has made his mark by running and releasing on the imprints Falkplatz and Vidab, and numerous releases and remixes for the likes of Soma, AIM, or JackOff to name a few. His uncompromising selections range from deep dubby house to big room techno, keeping the pulse on new sounds while always paying respect to the past, which can also be heard in productions on his collaborations with Ed Davenport, or monikers Gowentgone and SubBroomAssosciation. California native Lando (a.k.a. Antaeus Lando Roy) relocated to Berlin in 2010. Strains of classic house, techno, acid, and electro have always coursed through his tracks, but the German capital has allowed Lando to filter his disparate influences through a distinct lens, one that favors pulsing basslines, trippy melodies, and machine-made funk. This aesthetic carries over into his DJ sets, especially his more frequent appearances of his revamped, hardware-driven live sets in Tresor Club. Now, he’s started up his own label, Myth Music, alongside fellow Berlin expat Aaron Castle (Hotflush, Boiler Room). Since moving from her homeland of France to Berlin in 2005, Bloody Mary has made quite a name for herself, or rather, for her dancefloor seductress alter ego. As a world-class DJ, she has traveled internationally, launched her own label Dame-Music, and started a new project “The Jaydes”, a Berlin-based project comprising of two friends and studio partners – Bloody Mary & Attan. On the Tresor Floor: Ashley Burchett aka Ø [Phase] is a South West London based electronic music producer, DJ, mastering engineer and on/off artwork designer. Token Records label chief Kr!z always had a strong sympathy for the more gloomy, dark, rawer sound of techno. With fast & tight mixing, properly dosed with cuts & scratches, Kr!z is a respected & established artist in Belgium for a decade with his label, and a resident DJ for Belgium’s legendary techno night ‘Kozzmozz’ – his DJ schedule now takes him all over the world. Troels Knudsen aka Ctrls lives in Copenhagen, Denmark and has been immersed in music for most of his life. He spent the last 10+ years producing, performing, engineering and DJing various electronic genres around Europe and beyond. This activity generated the excentric Pyro drum’n’bass moniker, house works as part of 2400 Operator on Underground Quality and the industrial tinged techno project Northern Structures on Sonic Groove.
