Thursdays w/ On Board Music
Thu 03 August 2017 - 23:59

Guest Stereociti was first discovered by Mike Huckaby in 2007. The Detroit legend introduced the Japanese producer to the world on his radio show. Immediately after the broadcast of the program,  Stereociti released his debut EP “Citifunk EP” and joined a compilation “Up to the Surface” with producers such as Baaz and Scott Ferguson. Stereociti released his first full-length album  “Kawasaki” on Mojuba. It was highly acclaimed by both dance music fans and critics, and is already regarded as a milestone in the history of deep house music. Stereociti’s sources of influence are not only House and Techno music from Chicago and Detroit, but Jazz, Fusion, Dub, Rare Grooves and Japanese pop music of the 80’s. French artist Nicolas Olier aka Coni takes time from his international gigs to stop by and deliver a splendid house set on the Globus decks; Forming in 2010, Nummer is the pairing of 2 young London based French producers with an unquenchable thirst for acquiring obscure records & filling their studio with various pieces of second hand & custom built hardware / software. From classic ‘four-to-the floor’ workouts, creeping Electro jams & ambient, abstract soundscapes to deep outer-space arrangements, Nummer lay out raw drum tracks & emotive atmospheres with style & finesse. “Reach” is their second release (Their first was released by Peur Bleue Records) & shows many different sides to Nummer‘s sound, from the almost psychedelic, pastoral House of “Scion” to the 80’s Boogie infected groove of “Moon To Jupiter” & beyond, their musical influences are unmistakable. Laura BCR completes the Globus program. She runs On Board Music and has been co-running Bass Cadet Recordstore in Berlin in the last few years.
