On this day exactly 24 years ago Tresor opened its Leipziger Strasse doors to the world. Tonight we celebrate this occasion by inviting you to a Klubnacht bringing together very diverse techno generations and origins, each act representing current spearheads as well as veteran techno movers. The Globus line-up is fronted by the legendary duo Scion alias Substance & Vainqueur, the Berliner duo who gifted the new millenium with the Tresor Records release “Arrange And Process Basic Channel Tracks” one of the most celebrated techno mix CDs of the label’s history. One half of Scion is René Löwe aka Vainqueur who will also stand at the decks for a solo set. The psychotropic, grainy Basic Channel / Chain Reaction aesthetics of the Berlin veterans will provide side refinement with Argentinian Jonas Kopp as his dust-flying alias Untidy project, and Fachwerk chief and floor-filler Mike Dehnert sweeps the floor clean with his sacred techno set. In the basement we’ve got the best of the German-French connection of the past few years: Tresor Records artist and Contruct Re-Form head Zadig is awaited with his true-as-bone live set. If this is not enough live electronic for lovers of the genre, you can rejoice for the latest performance by one of the most innovative entries in Berlin techno, Sleeparchive. In addition we present Marcel Heese for a wicked warm-up and Marcelus for a heated closing – excellent resident team bookends.
