Joey Beltram hardly needs an introduction. And what better way to kick off the first party of 2020, with a true friend and exceptional techno icon. One of techno music’s most influential pioneers, his many albums on our label are legendary as well as on many of the biggest labels of the early 90’s such as Nu-Groove, Warp, Transmat, and R&S Records. Much of his music during that time is widely acknowledged as groundbreaking. Beltram has also been heralded as a major influence by many of today’s DJs and producers including Daft Punk (as mentioned in their song “Teachers”). To experience his basement set is something unforgettable – so now is your chance! Spanish artist Allesandro Gaja debuted in 2013 on Repitch, and records also on the Ophism Record label, focused on releasing rusty, live recorded analogue jams of underground acid techno, electro and lo-fi synthesizer music. Gaja’s releases on Ophism include “Nanook”, “Money Create Taste” and “Slaves Of The Future”. 2002 saw DJ Ro’s first appearance in Tresor on a New Faces night and he has been a resident since 2005. His style is reduced techno, with which he connects people and moves them. Ro likes no experiments and remains true to himself – with success. After an extended absence, we welcome Ro back to the Tresor decks. In the +4Bar we present another new year classic residents night, featuring alumni of the best quality: the intense sounds of Tresor resident HGR, Globus veteran Djoker Daan, and the wicked team of Prodomo & Steve Challier. Tighten up, exude family happiness and come down for our first party of the year!
