Tresor Invites Dave Clarke
Sat 18 July 2015 - 23:59

What more can one add to the olympus magnitude of Dave Clarke‘s resume of electronic music history? With over 25 years making magic in the industry, he is one of the leaders in the international techno circus, helping to re-write the qualities of the post-punk generation through the purist of techno and electro styles among a world of fast-selling chart crossover target marketing schemes – he remains an outsider and alternative musician of the best kind. Dave Clarke‘s nights in our home are the stuff of techno wizardry. On his side tonight is Damage Music’s Mario Berger and Tresor techno resident Ro, both seasoned basement DJs. On the Globus Floor: artist Pablo Mateo is part of the Lack Rec. family: Lack stands for a nicer world, love, tolerance, a minimum of pleasure, sexual freedom and lifting taboos around the unknown, and Pablo’s cool groove relects this fine goal. From the spectrum of sound providing dance floors nation wide, Damon Bell has emerged as one of one California’s most regarded Dj’s known to expose crowds to sounds that touch all genres of music. At any time in a set, you are bound to hear the polyrhythms of afro-beat, brazilian bossa or batucada, emerging future sounds of nu jazz, soulful deep house, 80’s boogie, rare disco classics to funk & soul. Being purveyor of fine music and record collecting for over 17 years, Damon Bell is a true connoisseur. rRoxymore, aka Hermione Frank, released her epic 10 minute debut “Wheel of Fortune” in the summer of 2012, which came via a split 12″ alongside Planningtorock’s ‘Patriarchy Over & Out” (Human Level / DFA Records). Returning to Planningtorock’s Human Level label, rRoxymore will release her first official EP entitled “Precarious/Precious”, featuring four tracks that combine nervous grooves, witchy cosmic synth lines, twisted snippets of acoustic instruments, and other signature sounds. Frequent Globus guest and sublime house DJ Norman Methner provides support.
