Just about a year ago, the Tresor basement rumbled with a night of exemplary techno from the genius of the genre Dave Clarke. What more can one add to the olympus magnitude of Dave Clarke‘s resume of electronic music history? With over 25 years making magic in the industry, he is one of the leaders in the international techno circus, helping to re-write the qualities of the post-punk generation through the purist of techno and electro styles among a world of fast-selling chart crossover target marketing schemes – he remains an outsider and alternative musician of the best kind. Over the years, Dave Clarke‘s nights in our home have gained legendary status, and it is always the greatest of pleasures to welcome him back. Dave’s set will be bookended with solid sets by Tresor resident HGR and Mario Berger. On the Globus Floor: Heavily influenced by jazz, funk and hip hop, Finnish mystery man Trevor Deep Jr. is Finland’s number one purveyor of water-proof house grooves. With a true love for analogue synthesis and a knack for hypnotic loops, Trevor blends classic Chicago house, Detroit techno soul, the underground sounds of NYC and the moody soundscapes of his hometown Helsinki in his sets and productions. Amsterdam clubbing these days wouldn’t be the same without the ongoing efforts of DJ/producer/promoter/label owner and returning artist Carlos Valdes. Not only has he enriched the city’s nightlife with a series of refreshing initiatives, but also introduced new artists from abroad and pushed a young generation of local talent. Carlos Valdes has also managed to become one of Holland’s most respected and loved underground DJs, setting dancefloors aflame across the Netherlands and abroad. Adding his unique touch to the program is local Berlin dancefloor burner and Satisfaction artist Marc fm.
