Tresor invites Dave Clarke
Sat 02 December 2017 - 23:59

Last summer the Tresor basement rumbled again with a night of exemplary techno from the genius of the genre Dave Clarke. What more can one add to the olympus magnitude of Dave Clarke‘s resume of electronic music history? With over 25 years making magic in the industry, he is one of the leaders in the international techno circus, helping to re-write the qualities of the post-punk generation through the purist of techno and electro styles among a world of fast-selling chart crossover target marketing schemes – he remains an outsider and alternative musician of the best kind. Over the years, Dave Clarke‘s nights in our home have gained legendary status, and it is always the greatest of pleasures to welcome him back. Sublime techno guaranteed! Sebastian Bayne is a DJ, producer and label owner based in Sydney Australia. His music is fast gaining the support of this peers as it is developing into his unique take on techno, as well as taking the reins of IF? label in 2010 from long time techno cohort Andrez Bergen aka Little Nobody, in 2010. IF? Records was established in Melbourne in 1995, has over 130 releases, and a roster that reads like a who’s who of the underground in the last 15 years. One of our very best techno residents will help carry the night to the highest levels, Mario Berger. In the +4Bar, we welcome Christopher Rau back to the decks, after his terrific Globus set a few years back. He has recorded two albums for Smallville records and several singles, EPs and remixes on various labels. Christopher is part of Dérive – Schallplatten, a label run by his friends Björnski, Maximilian and himself. Austrian DJ Oliver Kargl aka RNDM moved to Berlin in 2007 and has been collaborating with Efdemin on their Pigon project, fine tuning the producing-side of his vocation. An artist with the postminimal label Dial (formerly of Hamburg and now based in Berlin), RNDM’s unique blend of house grooves has found him in many top clubs around Europe. To anyone who follows Berlin club life closely, returning artist Natascha Kann quite obviously enters the conversation. Delivering warm, sexy, modern house sets à la Berlin in the best underground locations in the city for those in the know, we welcome back Natascha Kann once again in our home tonight.

** due to unforeseen circumstances, TAG will not play tonight.
