Following Robert Hood‘s appearance at last January’s Echoes night after a six year absence, we dedicate the summer’s end Klubnacht to this Detroit techno genius: Tresor invites Robert Hood! A whole night under the influence of one of the founders of Underground Resistance. And in 1994, when the concept of “minimal” was not yet the norm, Mr. Hood gave the planet “Internal Empire” and hijacked techno history. DON’T MISS THIS LEGENDARY ELECTRONIC ARTIST. Support comes from our resident J.C. whose debut album “Portrait Of The Flying Sky” will be released on August 31st on Fred P.’s Boards label. On this weekend J.C. will also be side-by-side thCe previous night with his label boss Fred P, for a change of pace in the harder sounds. More fierce support radiates from our techno residents Marcel Heese and Mario Berger.
While on the Tresor Floor a legend from the birthplace of techno radiates, the Globus Floor delivers a complete contrasting program with new blood in the form of Trap10. From Munich, they released their debut EP on a.r.t.less. Within a week it is was sold out, they were catapulted on numerous online charts and best-lists, and the demand for the duo’s live action was enormous. Their debut live gig as support for Sigha in Munich’s Harry Klein club followed in June. Such a small time window that even a rocket would have a problem with such a task. We are really impressed and offer the youngsters one our of the Void System and the Globus Floor. Swimming with the tide from our local pool: a Berlin insider favorite Richard Zepezauer together with a special freestyle, synchronized back-to-back sets by Handmade & HGR.
