Sweeping, emotional and shadowy DJ sets reveal everything about Abdulla Rashim, the secretive Swede. Abdulla Rashim and Varg’s Stockholm-based Northern Electronics brings together, like no other platform in contemporary music, the best in shadowy techno, mesmerising ambient and rusty metallic industrial sounds. Submerged in both rhythm and mystery, Abdulla Rashim‘s shadowy aesthetic floats in balance with his uncompromising work. Wholly dedicated to his ideas and sound, Rashim‘s quest for renewal and the importance of his craft has reflected well both internationally and locally, where he is praised alike. We also welcome back Stockholm’s Acronym, a strength-gaining member of Abdulla Rashim’s Northern Electronics bandcamp. With the intensity of his relentless, cutting-edge sounds, so brilliantly explored in his Dimensional Exploration series, to the stripped bare and excellent demo track 02 on our label – a step further is Acronym‘s set that simply mesmerizes. He has now shown himself to be a prolific producer of deep, percussive techno by continuously releasing EP’s and remixes. Refracted has released some of his dub-techno on lables such as Connwax and Silent Season. Deep rhythms and atmospheric elements have always played a major role in Refracted‘s music. Be it through hypnotic grooves or mesmerising soundscapes, the journey is always assured. The Globus Floor: Ray Kajioka is a German techno producer, DJ and live performer since 1995. He is well-known for his work on Kanzleramt Music, Rotation Records, MakTub, Müller Records, as well as his remixes for names like Dave Clarke, Pawas, Joel Mull and Beroshima. A distinguishing and striking aspect of Ray Kajioka’s music is certainly the warm, spherical and impulsive sound with roots in the Detroit vibe. Joel Mull is a techno DJ and producer from Sweden who has released on labels such as Drumcode, Truesoul, Audiomatique, Saved, Cocoon, Kanzleramt and Music Man, and is a master of making music with an ability to balance sounds from across the spectrum with heavy-duty rhythms, chords, and melody. Joel Mull is a dynamic and interactive DJ who blends rolling basslines, harmonic synths, and energetic percussion to craft an infectious and atmospheric sound. Patrik Skoog is also known by his moniker Agaric, exploring the deeper realms of techno and house, notably with productions on his well-received label/project named “We Are”. A technical DJ with great sense for momentum and track selection, Patrik Skoog performs a deeper variety of tracks with a passionate flourish. Affiliated with an astonishing list of top international labels, his 2013 debut album under his own name “Exit Earth” was critically praised all around. Lego is also from Sweden, one of the number of excellent artists from the Parabel team. Lego is active with the agency, where she and her partner takes care of the swedish techno elite. Lego is a longtime techno lover but just discovered recently that it’s not only fun to dance like a maniac, it’s even more fun to play, delivering jaw-dropping good techno sets.
