There is not a major electronic club, event or festival in the world that has not hosted the renowned Swedish artist Cari Lekebusch. A key ambassador in exporting the techno beats that proliferated from his homeland, a term which was then aptly coined by many as ‘Swedish Techno’. The impressive repertoire on his own H-Productions label has become a mainstay of the genre, permeating into the crates of the global electronic music community. Complimenting Cari’s extraordinary set will be UK artist Sam Coates aka Setaoc Mass, part of a select cut of young artists who are absorbing techno’s legacy and carrying the torch into tomorrow. Whilst overseeing his own imprint SK_eleven, his releases push a galvanising brand of techno, steeped in a sense of urgency, ever-propulsive with acute detailing and nods to a futuristic space-age. In addition to a debut release on Len Faki’s Figure which has caught the eye of some of the scene’s most respected DJ’s. As a selector, Mancunian Setaoc Mass’s extended DJ sets pull from an expansive spectrum of material both new and old. Support for this club vault program is from Tresor resident HGR, known for his versatile sets and agility to move between moods. Upstairs in Globus: it’s been over two years since Enrico Mantini graced us with his terrific live set. Growing up in central Italy Enrico spent much of his youth listening records and playing the bass guitar amongst new wave bands. Deejaying professionally since 1987 and producing his own tracks since 1990, Enrico has released about 80 records under various monikers, spacing from house to jazz, hip-hop and drum n bass, selling over 500.000 units and establishing his name in the electronic music scene. A true “DJ’s DJ”, Mike Shannon has won legions of fans and the respect of his peers alike for his deep crates and lightning fast mixing skills. And while some may suggest he has gravitated towards smoother, deeper selections as the years go by, those in the know will tell you he has few equals when it comes to whipping dance floors into a relentless techno frenzy. From the shuffling house and techno of Mike Shannon’s solo performances to the narcotic jazz of his new Blue Fields project. As head A&R and damn near everything else of Cynosure and formerly Revolver Canada Recordings (alongside Jeff Milligan) for over 10 years, Mike has shown an uncanny ability to select and release tracks which have become go-to fixtures in the sets of the industry’s best DJs. Dan Andrei is a young DJ and producer from Romania, who is making an appearance in Tresor Club before his upcoming gigs at Sunwaves Festival, Chronic Love and Sonus Festival this year in Romania. Sander Baan, born in the Netherlands and now living in Berlin, is known for his long-hour sets. Regular club animals know his own unique and versatile blend of sexy, stripped-down house and techno. Co-founding Phonocult Records and sponsoring the Rotate nights in Berlin, Sander Baan is a popular DJ both on the dancefloor at peak times and at after hours.
