Detroit Techno Militia is a record label and a street level DJ/producer collective dedicated to preserving the legacy of Detroit electronic music and its proliferation around the world. The collective started as a group of like-minded individuals who have similar inspirations and beliefs regarding to Detroit Techno; where it comes from, where it is, and where it is going in the future. T.Linder & DJ Seoul perform as the Detroit Techno Militia 2×4 on 4 turntables, and have been burning the Tresor Floor on many occasions over the past years – we welcome them back tonight for an outstanding basement set. Vince Watson is a Scottish artist now based in Amsterdam was signed onto Dave Angel’s Rotation Records already in 1995: his work caused a catatonic impact in the global electronic scene for setting a personal hypnotic perspective of groovy, melody and atmospheric sounds. After six albums Vince Watson founded his own label, Bio Music, and has consistently produced quality techno, with support and high profile licenses from the likes of Carl Cox to Laurent Garnier. Hailing from Lasi, second city of Romania, Andrew Red Hand is a self-taught DJ, producer, uncompromising warrior of the underground, ”the Romanian Detroit electro / techno pioneer” (Igloo Magazine). With frequent comparisons  to Detroit, Andrew Red Hand‘s  musical productions fuse together the soul of his native town Iasi, known as ”the spiritual capital of Romania” with the futuristic electro, techno, techno-bass, acid house, being characterized, in fact, by a free, no compromise exploration of electronic music, unique and groundbreaking in his country. Having remixed for Underground Resistance, for their Radio UR and a mix for Detroit Techno Militia’s radio show, Andrew Red Hand is a force to be watched. In Globus: UK artist James Connelly aka Night Slugs label co-founder L-Vis 1990 is also known by his moniker Dance System, his hardware-made, ghetto house-sourcing side project.  As L-Vis 1990, he has been releasing a singular brand of club music free of rules and genres since dropping his eponymous debut EP in 2008. The successful London Night Slugs parties evolved into the imprint and ensuing roster of excellent talent. L-Vis 1990’s album “Neon Dreams” brought 15 years’ worth of musical influences to bear, while shifting into focus the love of classic house music that has transcended all of James’s output to date. Andrew Ankanbi is “Groovy Groovy’s dynamic selector and overall badman…”. Resident at NYC’s DIY Groovy Groovy parties, the night has featured many top level international artists, and where Akanbi can express his turntable talent, where “if you’re not sweating you’re going it wrong”. Ansgar Rudolf aka ASA 808 released a 5-track EP with his first solo project Hasta la otra méxico! in 2008.  He has been gigging around some of Berlin’s well-known clubs for some time now, and we welcome him tonight on the Globus decks. Tonight’s line-up is complete with a terrific set from our frequent Deep Fried artist Schoppen Wittes.
