Tresor meets Deep In The Box
Sat 22 July 2017 - 23:59

In Globus: frequent guest DJ Barbara Preisinger, who heads her own vinyl label Slice Of Life, has been presenting her Deep In The Box evenings in Tresor Club, whole nights of warm, kicking house and deep techno. From her hometown of Munich to success in Berlin, Barbara founded first the “scape”  label with Stefan Betke aka Pole and became a regular DJ in many Berlin clubs. Her passion is to play for the dancefloor, mixing kicking house and deep techno – often incorporating the music of many notable friends and artists. Tonight she welcomes French techno maverick DJ Deep to the Globus decks. DJ Deep is a French techno and house producer and DJ. He runs the Deeply Rooted label, formerly Deeply Rooted House. Twenty years in, from house to techno and everything in between, DJ Deep has immersed himself in the ebb and flows of music, be it NY, Chicago, Detroit or today’s current pulsating waves. Henrik Bergqvist was raised as a DJ through legendary Stockholm underground institution The Office, and creates dance music for timeless warehouse sessions. Bergqvist’s productions are eternal cuts of percussive and bouncing, murky and sparkling, laid back and forward-driven house music. Never over-produced, always playful, raw and naïve. In Tresor: John Heckle from Merseyside, UK returns to the decks as Head Front Panel, his mysterious techno venture and sub-label from Andrew Ingram’s Tabernacle Records. With two albums under his belt, we welcomeback  his straight-up, no-nonsense techno. Under the guise Blue Hour, British producer/DJ Luke Standing has carved his unique imprint and distinctive sound not only onto the UK Techno scene but the global dance community as a whole. A series of notably designed 12″s delve forward and strike classically with a fresh, exciting fusion of functionality and traditionalism of dancefloor focused techno, intimately driven by the spirit and energy of the 90s, Millsian futurism and timeless electronica. Australian artist Dave Stuart, who debuted last year on a New Faces night in Tresor, strives to find the most beautiful deep melodic house & techno for his DJ sets, sometimes driving, sometimes deep & dubby and always not limiting himself to one style or genre. As well as DJing, Dave Stuart is responsible for the music policy & international artist bookings at a weekly club night Something Else at the Burdekin in Sydney, and his international gig schedule only grows larger.
