Sleeparchive returns for another intense live set. One of the most innovative artists in Berlin techno, Sleeparchive is a sort of post-90s electronic deity with a penchant for the future. Joining the Tresor label in 2011 with “Ronan Point” (Tresor.243) and on to “A Man Dies On The Street” Pts. 1 & 2 (Tresor.260/264), Sleeparchive’s music is just as hazy, deep and full of shady nuances that, like treasure, only appear if you’re willing to keep probing. Over the last 2 decades Developer has played alongside many of the elite techno talents from around the globe as well as taking part in laying a foundation in the LA techno culture by producing events and exposing various first time international talents throughout the mid 1990’s to 2008. Developer continues to thrive as one of the most interesting techno mixmasters from the Americas as well as the 2006 birth of his label Modularz that features productions and remixes from some of his early contemporaries in Los Angeles as well as a few established and emerging talents from around the world. Originally from Toronto, Berlin-based techno artist Mary Velo is a recognized DJ & producer. She has been producing music since 2005 and started DJing shortly after. Her music style has been described as dark, experimental & moody techno made for the dance floor. Mary Velo tours internationally and in 2013, her track “Detune” was released on Frozen Border’s “Minutes In Ice” compilation where she received rave reviews and gained international recognition. Our top-notch techno resident Mischa kicks up tight support. In Globus: Sterac is a long-time friend of the Tresor family, recorded for the Tresor label and is known internationally for his creative output. Where other aliases were used for excursions to more dub-, disco-, or house- oriented records, Sterac’s focus has always been on the no-nonsense, darker, and deeper side of techno. He has traveled the world where he has played in the most famous clubs. Joel Mull is a techno DJ and producer from Sweden who has released on labels such as Drumcode, Truesoul, Audiomatique, Saved, Cocoon, Kanzleramt and Music Man, and is a master of making music with an ability to balance sounds from across the spectrum with heavy-duty rhythms, chords, and melody. Joel Mull is a dynamic and interactive DJ who blends rolling basslines, harmonic synths, and energetic percussion to craft an infectious and atmospheric sound. Ron Wilson, boss at 777 Recordings, captain at Submarine and head at Berlin’s Tanzmichmal creates his theme nights at Tresor with regularity, and tonight he brings his house music talent to the Globus Floor.
