The Tresor Floor showcases New York’s Chronicle Records, a project dedicated on documenting valid explorations of powerful electronic waveform transmissions and their experiences. On the decks: UK artist Ben Gibson, with his unique style of mood-driven, no-nonsense techno, completely underground and edgy, throwing his talent to his audience tonight with a killer live set. Tadeo is an established DJ and producer, label manager of Cyclical Tracks, NET28 founder, and member of the most interesting label family from Spain: CMYKmusik, Apnea and Mupa. Whether commanding the decks or performing live, Tadeo continues constructing imaginative and impossible sets, going from minimal to techno – and viceversa – with superb skills. New Yorker Serif aka Lenny Posso also returns to the Tresor decks: playing all over NYC, various other US cities and several countries abroad, he lives, breathes techno and house music. Lenny is owner and founder of Thema Recordings, Chronicle Records and Thema Digital, a DJ and artist who strives to test and challenge the conventional representation of today’s techno, house, and electronica to its furthest boundaries. Marco Bianchino aka Biemix is an Italian born electronic music producer and DJ. His experience in producing music began among the Electro, Progressive, Swedish and Dutch side of House music taking out a lot of interesting releases. With a good number of productions on some distinguished labels, he has created a solid place in the Italian scene and beyond, currently based in Berlin. In Globus: starting in 1997, James “darkfarmer” Taylor and David “brun” Brown presented their trade as the influential underground electronic act Swayzak. After releasing 5 studio albums and 2 DJ compilations James left and David continued as s_w_z_k. James returned and Swayzak continued to release numerous excellent experimental works, including our own label (Tresor.253), carrying their sound further in its dark, twisted and unmistakable voyage. Our own excellent techno resident and Tresor Records artist Pacou steams it up with an exclusive, extraordinary Globus set tonight, as well as PoleGroup’s artist Tripeo’s border-crossing electronica. Our own tough resident HGR provides jumbo support with his versatile set and agility to move between moods.
