Longtime advocates of sonic terrorism even before banding together as The Advent in 1993, Cisco Ferreira and Colin McBean’s assault on conventional techno flourished in part because of abundant glimpses into related styles, from electro and hip-hop to techno. In the late 80s he had several tech sessions Jack Trax Records, working with artists from the label – Derrick May, Fingers Inc, Adonis, Marshall Jefferson, Jazzy M… After a couple 80s solo releases and later as The Advent and as Cisco Ferreira, he released many classic albums of the genre combining the best elements of Techno,House & Electro Music. A decades-long family member of Tresor Club & Records, we welcome him back on the decks tonight. Backed by two of our mighty residents DJ Ro and T.A.G., you can expect a techno earthquake in the basement tonight. Upstairs in Globus, Lisandro Quezada aka DJ Qu is a New Jersey-based producer, DJ and Strength label boss was referred to as “the dancer’s DJ” in Resident Advisor’s 2009 feature on the US east coast house renaissance, a title honestly earned given his background as a world traveling house dancer and resident at New York’s esteemed HouseDanceConference. DJ Qu has been steadily reinforcing that description ever since, with a well-received run of rhythmic, dark, stripped-down productions for his Strength Music imprint.  Jose Cabrera aka J.C. from Spain, debuting in Tresor on one of the Echoes nights, expresses a style of simple, raw, stripped down and hypnotic techno. After several other innovative releases, J.C. joined the Tresor label family with his different blends in subtle electronics. We also welcome back frequent guest Alex Barroso aka Alex Cliché, Berlin DJ and producer who time after time delivers a terrific set of electronica styled with precision.
