Every time Blake Baxter returns to the Tresor decks, the unmistakable singe of his trademark funky techno echoes onto the floor, as it has since the beginnings of his Tresor Club and Records legacy. An innovator of the genre in the fullest sense of the term, his core releases decades ago resound in today’s international multi-leveled and wide spectrum of club electronica. Combining influences from Detroit and underground Dutch techno, he has created his own sound unique to the UK.
